Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications.
- Ensure application quality, performance, scalability, responsiveness, and operational efficiency.
- Complete DCUT activities within schedule and budget.
- Participate in scrums, stand-ups, working sessions, feature delivery, support, and bug fixes.
- Document technical decisions, designs, and unit testing.
- Collaborate with business analysts, software analysts, quality engineering teams, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
- Use DevOps and cloud technologies to support application delivery.
- Build strong working relationships across business units and technology platforms.
Requirements
- Strong software development background and understanding of technology and/or the financial services industry.
- Advanced experience with Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Java or Scala, Spring Boot, REST APIs, NoSQL or SQL databases, and React.
- Experience with GitHub, Helios or similar delivery tools, DevOps practices, and cloud technologies such as OpenShift, Azure, or AWS.
- Strong written, oral, presentation, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Preferred experience includes payments or AML systems, Elasticsearch, Snowflake, generative AI tools, and automated testing tools.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to facilitate and influence key decision makers are preferred.
