Base Salary
$153k - $163k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own software subsystem through full development and support lifecycle.
- Bring creative and innovative software solutions to the team.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in 2+ areas of the software.
- Act as a sounding board for technical discussions.
- Improve quality and operational processes.
- Triage challenging bugs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software development experience.
- Experience developing scalable micro-service based web applications with modern Java and the Spring framework.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, etc).
- Knowledge in computer architecture, data access patterns, scalability, and object-oriented software techniques.
- Demonstrated technical leadership with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to apply them in day-to-day work.
- Ability to use data for technical recommendations and decisions.
- Key contributor to technical team discussions and engineering debates.
- Ability to estimate scope on larger software projects.
- Proficient at debugging other engineers' code.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Domain experience in healthcare preferred, but not required.
