Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, validation, solution design, and technical evaluations for customers.
- Own proofs of concept, proofs of value, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams on customer acquisition and expansion strategies.
- Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders and guide them through GitLab adoption.
- Advise customers on modern software development, DevSecOps, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices.
- Represent customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights to Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
- Create reusable technical examples, best-practice guidance, and customer and partner collateral.
- Maintain and expand expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and related cloud technologies.
Requirements
- Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or a similar customer-facing solution design and evaluation role.
- Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle and modern DevSecOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, continuous integration and continuous deployment, and collaboration platforms.
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies, including deployment, security, and operations options.
- Experience leading proofs of concept or value, tenders or audits, workshops, or value stream assessments.
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills for both practitioners and senior business or technical decision makers.
- Ability to build trusted relationships, listen empathetically, and advocate for customers internally.
- Motivation to continue professional development and deepen GitLab platform expertise.
- Fluency in Arabic.
