Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for a global OpenLink Endur ETRM implementation supporting Shell Trading and Supply.
- Design and implement Endur infrastructure, grid architecture, context services, integrations, multiregion end-of-day processing, scaling, sizing, and performance tuning.
- Own technical architecture, solution designs, standards, documentation, and formal design approvals across IT projects.
- Integrate business process, data, application, technical, and information security concerns into cohesive solutions.
- Guide detailed designers and business analysts, support the Lead Architect, and participate in Architecture Review Board sessions.
- Maintain reference models in BizzDesign or comparable enterprise architecture tooling.
- Architect Azure cloud-native applications, legacy migrations, containers, microservices, federated data platforms, and event-driven integrations.
- Provide technical leadership, facilitate architecture decisions, manage trade-offs and dependencies, and engage business and IT stakeholders.
Requirements
- Personally designed and implemented Endur platforms, with hands-on ETRM architecture experience beyond configuration or development.
- At least 10 years of Trading IT experience and at least 10 years of OpenLink Endur v14+ experience.
- Experience with Kafka integration with Endur v26+ and end-to-end trading processes from deal inception through settlement.
- At least 10 years of software and architecture delivery experience and at least 5 years in trading environments.
- Experience with Endur Managers, Domain Services, Operation Services, TPM, APM, Grid Setup, and Deal Modelling.
- Hands-on Azure architecture experience, including migration or re-platforming of legacy on-premise systems and use of cloud-native platforms.
- Expertise in one or more of Node.js, .NET, .NET Core, or Python; front-end technologies such as React and micro frontends; and SQL, NoSQL, or cloud datastores.
- Experience with data architecture, logical data models, medallion architecture, data engineering, pipelines, warehousing, storage, lifecycle management, privacy, and security.
- Knowledge of big data, high-velocity streaming, IoT, low-latency event triggers, and longitudinal time series.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Web Apps, Event Hubs, event buses, Kafka, ELK, Azure Active Directory, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, Azure Kubernetes Service, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Confluent, API Management, and Logic Apps.
- At least 3 years of data architecture experience and at least 5 years of CI/CD delivery experience using Git or GitHub, VSTS or Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Experience with TOGAF or a similar framework, enterprise architecture tooling, Agile environments, and architecture governance.
- Experience with JVS, OpenComponents, SAP HANA, Salesforce, API management, and multifactor authentication is desirable.
- Strong communication, collaboration, consensus-building, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and technical leadership capabilities.
- Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident.
