Responsibilities
- Design and evolve scalable, resilient backend systems across multiple services and teams.
- Drive architecture decisions and solve complex technical problems affecting multiple teams or domains.
- Improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of core backend services.
- Lead architecture discussions and design reviews while guiding technical trade-offs.
- Mentor engineers, promote engineering standards, and raise code quality, testing, and maintainability practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building and operating backend systems at scale.
- Strong experience designing distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
- Experience with cloud-native platforms and modern infrastructure.
- Strong system design and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to influence technical direction and collaborate across teams.
