Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain microservices for regulatory platform processes.
- Develop frameworks integrating legacy systems and external systems.
- Perform hands-on Java/J2EE coding and maintain high code quality.
- Author unit tests, performance tests, and mocking-based tests.
- Respond quickly to business requirements and management requests.
- Apply technical and business knowledge to develop solutions for client and business needs.
- Work independently on complex and medium-to-large projects.
- Support Agile development and continuous delivery practices.
Requirements
- More than four years of experience in enterprise web application development using Java/J2EE and Oracle.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, computers, information technology, or engineering.
- Expertise in Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, J2EE, Git, HTML, JavaScript, XML/XSL, and JSON.
- Experience with Oracle-based solutions, REST APIs, mocking, unit testing, and performance testing.
- Experience developing in a continuous delivery pipeline.
- Basic Unix knowledge, including writing and understanding shell scripts and Unix commands.
- Strong Java/J2EE and Oracle solution-design skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of Kafka, PySpark, embedded Tomcat, and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of Akka and NoSQL is a plus.
- Financial markets background is preferred.
- Willingness to work late in the evening India time when needed to coordinate with the Europe onshore team and meet urgent client requests.
