Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery for complex customer implementations across deployment, integration, configuration, testing, and go-live activities.
- Act as a hands-on technical lead across customers, vendors, support teams, cloud operations, product management, and engineering.
- Implement, configure, test, and validate HL7 message flows and healthcare system integrations.
- Analyze data mappings and flows, troubleshoot message-level defects, and ensure integration behavior meets approved architecture and best practices.
- Lead validation, defect investigation, deployment preparation, operational readiness, and go-live support.
- Diagnose escalations, perform root cause analysis, implement fixes or workarounds, document lessons learned, and mentor Healthcare Implementation Engineers.
- Transfer implementation knowledge to support, engineering, product management, and implementation teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of experience implementing, integrating, supporting, or delivering healthcare technology solutions.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise healthcare implementations, customer-facing troubleshooting, solution configuration, testing, and go-live support.
- Strong hands-on experience implementing, testing, and troubleshooting HL7 v2.x interfaces, including message structures, segments, mappings, acknowledgements, error handling, and end-to-end validation.
- Experience working as a hands-on technical lead in complex healthcare environments with customers, vendors, engineering, operations, and support teams.
- Experience investigating technical issues, performing root cause analysis, resolving implementation defects, and supporting customer escalations.
- Experience with healthcare platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), Altera, Meditech, or equivalent systems.
- Experience mentoring technical team members and reviewing technical implementation work.
- Professional working proficiency in Arabic is a plus, along with strong communication skills for customer technical and operational stakeholders.
