Responsibilities
- Own execution across multiple critical platform dimensions, including scalability, platformization, and reliability.
- Design and build abstractions that platformize serving infrastructure for current and emerging use cases.
- Redesign existing platforms to support a 10X to 100X increase in scale.
- Improve developer experience by reducing platform onboarding time from weeks to hours.
- Develop features that improve product functionality and end-user experience.
- Promote engineering quality and productivity while mentoring junior team members.
- Collaborate across organizations and functions to build consensus and drive broad technical impact.
Requirements
- 12+ years of production-level experience with Python, Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language.
- BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
