- Diagnose and resolve customer issues involving field coverage across complex field geometries.
- Build and harden geospatial data pipelines for field and equipment data transformations, optimization, and output.
- Design, build, test, and deploy Python-based AWS Lambda services across the platform.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing against real field data, and visual validation before releases.
- Own the build and deployment lifecycle for serverless cloud services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Mastery of Python and experience writing production-grade, well-tested services.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, geometry, and spatial-data reasoning skills.
- At least 3 years of experience building cloud-native services on AWS, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, and ECS.
- Experience with geospatial and computational geometry libraries such as Shapely, GeoPandas, or PyProj.
- Experience with Docker-based software and build pipelines.
- Familiarity with optimization techniques or operations research, such as OR-Tools and vehicle routing problems, is a plus.
- Familiarity with robotics or vehicle kinematics, including Dubins/Reeds-Shepp paths and turning-radius constraints, is a plus.
- Familiarity with NodeJS/TypeScript and SQL/NoSQL database engines is a plus.
- Applicants should be organized, disciplined, entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities; willingness to learn to drive tractors is desired.
