Base Salary
$90k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications.
- Create functional, destructive, performance, and other test suites to support reliable production releases.
- Contribute reusable foundational code, architectural diagrams, and product documentation.
- Assist with product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and production monitoring.
- Collaborate with product teams to make user stories developer-ready, understandable, and testable.
- Lead technical discussions, answer engineering and product questions, and mentor junior engineers.
- Identify team capability gaps and recommend changes to improve productivity.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, work estimation, refactoring, and modernization of legacy systems.
Requirements
- At least three years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Extensive experience with frontend technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, and an object-oriented language such as Java.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, cloud computing, security frameworks, testing, debugging, root cause analysis, and version control.
- Experience designing systems for high availability, disaster recovery, performance, efficiency, and security.
