Base Salary
$85k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design scalable and resilient Spring Boot microservices and Java-based commerce architectures.
- Guide backend services, frontend integrations, APIs, service contracts, data flows, and end-to-end commerce solution design.
- Define architectural standards, review designs and code, and provide technical guidance and reference implementations.
- Collaborate with product, business, platform, infrastructure, quality engineering, and operations teams.
- Drive testing, observability, monitoring, deployment, and operational practices for reliable software delivery.
- Analyze performance and reliability metrics, optimize critical services, and support incident and root-cause investigations.
- Document architectural decisions, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements.
- Evaluate Java ecosystem tools, frameworks, and architectural patterns to improve productivity and reduce technology risk.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise designing and implementing Spring Boot microservices for high-volume transactions and complex enterprise requirements.
- Strong proficiency in Java-based full-stack engineering for commerce platforms, including backend services, integration patterns, and modern web application technologies.
- Extensive experience with API design, RESTful services, and data modeling for scalable distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks, build tools, CI/CD practices, and version-control systems.
- Strong knowledge of performance tuning, caching, asynchronous processing, and application scalability.
- Understanding of security, authentication, authorization, and data-protection practices for customer-facing applications.
- Experience with containerized deployments and cloud-ready enterprise architectures.
- Preferred qualifications include enterprise architecture governance, technical team leadership, cross-group architectural influence, observability and monitoring implementation, and evaluation of modern Java ecosystem tools and frameworks.
