Base Salary

$140k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

Build full-stack features using React/TypeScript on the client and Django/REST services on the server.
Own outcomes by refining scope and proposing simpler approaches to deliver value quickly.
Design clean API contracts and improve performance and reliability through query tuning and caching.
Collaborate with Product and Design from discovery to delivery, clarifying user jobs and shaping milestones.
Ensure UIs are accessible and responsive, with solid error-handling and failure-mode UX.
Raise engineering standards through testing strategies, code quality, and observability.
Investigate production issues with Support and turn learnings into fixes.
Engage with the open-source community to understand real-world needs and improve developer experience.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and mentor teammates.

Senior-level experience in shipping production full-stack features with React/TypeScript and Python/Django.
Strong product sense with experience in making scope and trade-off decisions based on user feedback.
Fluency with modern front-end tooling such as Vite/Webpack and state-management patterns.
Backend expertise in REST API design, relational modeling, and performance tuning.
Excellent communication skills at a Senior IC level, including writing clear RFCs/PRDs.
Nice to have: familiarity with GraphQL, Kafka, Spark, and multi-tenant SaaS.
