Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end test strategies for Service Portals, with emphasis on performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain Robot Framework automation for regression, functional, and system testing.
- Validate IP/MPLS network topologies and orchestration and automation functionality.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with developers on improvements.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD release pipelines.
- Review requirements and design documents for testability.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and participate in peer reviews.
- Report quality metrics, defect tracking, and performance validation for product releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, telecommunications, IP networking, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in software quality assurance, including at least 2 years in the telecom or networking domain.
- Proficiency with Robot Framework, Python or Java scripting, and test automation design patterns.
- Strong understanding of IP and network virtualization concepts.
- Familiarity with Nokia NSP architecture and service provisioning such as L3VPN and TE tunnels is preferred.
- Experience with Linux-based environments, network emulators such as IXIA and Spirent, and protocol analyzers such as Wireshark is preferred.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and documentation skills.
