Responsibilities
- Lead system verification strategy, planning, execution, risk management, and test automation across multiple projects and releases.
- Identify system-level risks and design test scenarios covering functional, performance, reliability, and scalability requirements.
- Develop and maintain Java and Selenium automation, BDD frameworks, and REST/SOAP web-service automation.
- Analyze logs, resolve technical verification challenges, and support defect detection and resolution.
- Coordinate verification documentation, quality-system test reports, and Design History File deliverables.
- Mentor verification team members and collaborate with engineering, quality, security, regulatory, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Improve verification efficiency through automation, AI-driven practices, continuous improvement, and release-readiness metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related stated field.
- 10–13 years of experience in software or system verification, including test strategy, system integration testing, manual testing, and test automation.
- Strong experience with Java automation using Selenium, BDD frameworks, and web-service automation testing.
- Ability to define and execute functional, performance, reliability, and scalability test cases.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, continuous testing, source control, pipeline practices, IT infrastructure, virtualization, networking, cloud technologies, and system integration environments.
- Experience with log analysis and requirements, test, and defect management tools such as JIRA or ALM.
- Experience with AWS, JMeter, Postgres, or AngularJS is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAFE Agile and exposure to cybersecurity verification, system hardening, authentication, authorization, network security, or secure deployment configurations.
- Strong systems thinking, execution leadership, technical influence, quality ownership, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, planning, problem-solving, continuous-improvement, and adaptability skills.
