Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows server environments.
- Deploy, configure, and manage RHEL, Ubuntu, Rocky Linux, and Windows servers in virtual and physical environments.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, Shell scripting, and Ansible.
- Manage source code repositories and infrastructure-as-code assets using version control systems.
- Monitor system performance, availability, security, and capacity planning activities.
- Support cloud infrastructure deployments and operations across GCP and Azure.
- Implement and manage server patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards for availability, performance, and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIS, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience administering and troubleshooting Linux and Windows servers.
- At least 2 years of hands-on scripting and automation experience with Python, Shell scripting, and Ansible.
- Experience with source code management tools such as Git and GitHub.
- At least 2 years of experience deploying and managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, Rocky Linux, and Windows Servers.
- Experience managing virtualized and physical server environments.
- At least 2 years of cloud platform experience, preferably with Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
- Good understanding of virtualization technologies and strong knowledge of open-source infrastructure and monitoring tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes platforms, container orchestration, infrastructure monitoring and observability tools, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and open-source ecosystem tools.
