Responsibilities
- Develop Node.js backend services using TypeScript and frameworks such as Express or Fastify.
- Build Azure cloud-based internal applications using C# and React.js.
- Design and deliver IoT solutions with edge-to-cloud integration, MQTT and CoAP protocols, and real-time telemetry processing.
- Implement API designs, integration patterns, microservices, and Kong API management policies and plugins.
- Develop Kafka event-streaming solutions with consumer group management and distributed event-driven architectures.
- Design, query, index, and manage MongoDB schemas, telemetry workflows, sharding, and replica sets.
- Use AWS IoT services and other cloud-native technologies for IoT development.
- Work with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tools for application delivery.
- Perform incident response, debugging, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis in IoT and distributed cloud environments.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, management, or a related field.
- Strong Node.js backend development and deep TypeScript expertise.
- Experience designing and delivering IoT solutions, including edge-to-cloud integration, MQTT, CoAP, and real-time telemetry.
- Hands-on experience with AWS IoT Core, IoT Analytics, Device Defender, IoT Device Management, and other cloud-native services.
- Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Kong or a similar API management platform, including traffic control, policies, and plugin configuration.
- Experience with Kafka, event streaming, consumer group management, and distributed event-driven architectures.
- Solid MongoDB experience, including schema design, indexing, querying, telemetry workflows, and sharding or replica sets.
- Proficiency with asynchronous programming, security, and performance tuning in the Node.js ecosystem.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Kubernetes including EKS, Docker, and Terraform-based infrastructure as code.
- Additional Java or Python knowledge is preferred.
- Strong analytical ability and experience with incident response, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
