Responsibilities
- Define and maintain target-state enterprise architectures aligned with business strategy, product roadmaps, and technical execution.
- Guide architectural decisions across distributed systems, integrations, data platforms, and shared services.
- Establish architectural principles, standards, and guardrails for consistency, scalability, and sustainability.
- Align engineering and product leaders across business units to reduce fragmentation and improve interoperability.
- Oversee system-to-system integration patterns, data flows, and service contracts across internal and external platforms.
- Provide architectural leadership for cloud adoption, modernization, and legacy-system evolution.
- Evaluate architectural risks, technical debt, and investment tradeoffs and communicate recommendations to leadership.
- Advise senior engineering, product, and business stakeholders and influence decisions without direct authority.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, enterprise systems, or large-scale platform design.
- Proven experience defining and governing enterprise or platform architectures across multiple teams.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, integration patterns, data architectures, and cloud platforms.
- Ability to remain technology-agnostic while guiding teams toward sound architectural decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-influence skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience with SaaS, multi-tenant platforms, or PropTech.
- Preferred: familiarity with event-driven architectures, APIs, and messaging systems.
- Preferred: experience in complex, acquired, or federated technology organizations.
