Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical implementation of Salesforce features from design through deployment and documentation.
- Define architecture strategies, identify technical constraints, and coordinate cross-team technical decisions with system and enterprise architects.
- Develop Apex, Lightning Web Components, and platform-native code with automated unit test coverage.
- Implement automated business and regression tests, lead code reviews and pair programming, and enforce coding standards.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate testing, deployment, and delivery processes.
- Manage technical debt, maintain architecture and solution documentation, and promote platform stability.
- Act as a Level 3 expert for production incidents, corrective maintenance, minor changes, data retrieval requests, and support procedure improvements.
- Deliver project solutions comprising code, tests, and documentation while contributing to roadmaps, estimation, and sprint planning.
- Mentor junior and intermediate developers and collaborate with the wider Salesforce developer community.
- Participate in SAFe ceremonies and collaborate with Paris-based product teams during overlapping business hours.
- Track technical debt in JIRA, manage incidents and demands in ServiceNow, and identify automation and AI-augmentation opportunities.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on Salesforce platform development experience, with the posting describing a typical range of 6–8 years.
- Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce declarative tools, SOQL/SOSL optimization, and governor limits.
- Experience with Salesforce DX, VS Code Salesforce Extensions, Git-based workflows, and Salesforce CI/CD tools such as Copado or Gearset.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, automated testing, code reviews, pair programming, and technical documentation.
- Experience with Agile/SAFe practices, including PI Planning, sprint cadences, and backlog management.
- Strong English communication skills and the ability to mentor developers and collaborate across distributed teams.
- Mandatory certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, Platform App Builder, and Development Lifecycle & Deployment Architect for the Tech Lead profile.
- Preferred experience includes Salesforce Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft or other middleware, and Luxury, Retail, or Fashion CRM environments.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Salesforce AI capabilities, additional Salesforce architecture certifications, and French proficiency.
