Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, highly available infrastructure on AWS and other cloud providers.
- Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, including building pipelines from scratch and supporting existing ones.
- Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
- Drive automation across build, deployment, and operational tasks.
- Maintain infrastructure security standards covering containers, application dependencies, Terraform dependencies, firewalls, and service meshes.
- Participate in primarily daytime on-call rotations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional DevOps or SRE experience, with some experience substitutable through general software engineering experience.
- Experience with AI-driven development and debugging.
- Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure as code.
- Solid understanding of AWS services or other cloud platforms.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch and supporting existing pipelines.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
- Coding skills in at least one language, such as Go, JavaScript, or Python.
- Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform, infrastructure-as-code tool, and container orchestration system.
