Base Salary

$162k - $238k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and support login, sign-up, session-management, safety, privacy, account-linking, developer-integration, and family-management features.
  • Design, create, deploy, and operate account-management user flows and web applications across Epic’s games, apps, and services.
  • Own the full lifecycle of services and applications, including live operations and deployment.
  • Develop distributed systems and cloud-based services that support large-scale online gaming features.
  • Use relational SQL and nonrelational databases to craft scalable solutions.
  • Connect frontend user flows with backend services using efficient, reusable patterns for multiple clients and customers.
  • Collaborate with service owners, producers, cloud teams, infrastructure teams, and embedded DevOps engineers.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience building secure, scalable, and highly available web applications and services.
  • Experience programming backend web services in Java or a similar language.
  • Experience programming frontend applications with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
  • Demonstrated understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong full-stack engineering capability and experience solving complex technical challenges.
