Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of complex, high-impact initiatives across multiple teams.
- Own and evolve the architecture of critical systems for scalability and reliability.
- Drive technical strategy and identify opportunities to simplify systems.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and stakeholders to create actionable solutions.
- Act as a technical leader and mentor for engineering excellence.
- Establish best practices for code quality and operational excellence.
- Identify and address system-wide risks and performance bottlenecks.
- Champion the adoption of AI and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading the design and delivery of large-scale, distributed systems.
- Strong backend expertise in Java or Kotlin, with full-stack capabilities.
- Ability to design scalable architectures and make technical tradeoffs.
- Experience in navigating ambiguity and aligning stakeholders.
- Track record of technical leadership and mentoring engineers.
- Deep understanding of microservices architectures and operational considerations.
- Ability to decompose complex problems into clear strategies.
- Strong product and customer mindset with a history of impactful solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with AI-based tools to enhance engineering effectiveness.
