Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, resilient platform services for partner onboarding, provisioning, lifecycle management, and governance.
- Drive architecture and system design for distributed systems with reliability, performance, scalability, disaster recovery, security, compliance, and cost-efficiency goals.
- Build Azure-native integration capabilities for strategic ISV solutions across data, storage, security, networking, and AI ecosystems.
- Own end-to-end delivery from planning and implementation through testing, deployment, validation, production rollout, and operational support.
- Improve reliability through telemetry, monitoring, automation, incident response, root-cause analysis, and supportability investments.
- Use AI-assisted development tools across the software development lifecycle while maintaining accuracy, security, and code quality.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, stakeholders, and ISV partners to reduce onboarding friction and improve integration experiences.
- Provide technical leadership, influence cross-team engineering direction, mentor peers, and drive innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on development in C#, Java, Python, or another programming language.
- Strong expertise in software design, system architecture, data structures, algorithms, and scalable, reliable, secure service development.
- Experience owning and delivering complex features or services from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Understanding of cloud-based and distributed systems, reliability, performance optimization, telemetry, diagnostics, and live-site support.
- Ability to influence technical direction and mentor others through design leadership, code reviews, and cross-team collaboration.
- Experience applying secure coding practices and compliance requirements.
- Advanced technical judgment and architectural capability, including designing, optimizing, debugging, refactoring, and guiding engineering decisions.
- Preferred leadership experience mentoring peers, influencing cross-team architecture, and serving as a directly responsible individual for reliability and operational excellence.
- Preferred exposure to AI platforms, large language models, and core machine-learning concepts.
