Base Salary
$244k - $305k/yr
Responsibilities
- Invent simpler and more reliable build, test, and packaging tools.
- Improve performance and cost efficiency by increasing cache hit rates and reducing CI times and compute spend across millions of targets.
- Improve CI pipeline reliability and speed.
- Prepare, run, and complete complex migrations.
- Contribute fixes and features upstream to the Bazel ecosystem.
- Own greenfield and brownfield projects from start to finish and inform the team roadmap.
Requirements
- Expertise in Bazel and/or Go, Python, Java, Rust, or TypeScript.
- Broad understanding of the software projects built, tested, and packaged by developer tooling.
- User-focused approach to improving the usability of internal tools.
- Experience working with a large codebase is preferred.
