Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy new Acropolis Hypervisor features using C, Golang, Rust, and Python.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve complex issues in the existing AHV codebase and features.
- Improve the hypervisor’s reliability, performance, and security.
- Engage with open-source communities and align development with broader kernel developments.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience and a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in C, Golang, Rust, and Python.
- Deep knowledge of operating-system internals, particularly UNIX/Linux.
- Familiarity with x86 architecture, virtualization, storage, and network management.
- Experience developing kernel-level software for Unix, Linux, or BSD operating systems.
- Strong debugging skills involving Linux kernel modules, multithreading, algorithms, and data structures.
