Base Salary

$86k - $173k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design and development of enterprise-grade software solutions.
  • Build scalable Java backend services using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
  • Develop responsive web interfaces using Angular, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Design and maintain mobile applications for iOS and/or Android, including authentication, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and store releases.
  • Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases and integrate internal, external, and third-party APIs.
  • Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and participate in CI/CD pipeline automation.
  • Support cloud-native deployments and containerized environments while improving application performance and security.
  • Conduct code reviews, prepare technical documentation, resolve complex problems, and provide technical guidance and mentoring to colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience and at least 3 years of Java enterprise application development experience.
  • Strong experience with Java 11 or Java 17, Spring Boot, REST API development, microservices, SQL databases, and Git.
  • Experience with Angular, React, or Vue and with iOS, Android, or both mobile platforms.
  • Preferred experience includes both Android and iOS native development, React Native, Flutter, .NET MAUI, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
  • Preferred qualifications include mobile security, encryption, secure coding, and experience in financial services, banking, or regulated environments.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot systems, and communicate effectively.
