Responsibilities
- Design and implement application-level architecture for complex end-to-end systems.
- Develop scalable applications, components, subsystems, and microservices across multiple platforms.
- Build front-end, business-logic, and data-access layers using the required technologies.
- Participate in architecture design teams and recommend development tools, testing methodologies, and policy changes.
- Plan project lifecycles, schedules, assignments, risk strategies, and delivery against project goals.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to resolve project and technology issues.
- Ensure QA readiness, documentation, testing, performance, security, and service reliability of software deliverables.
- Advise senior management on technical strategy and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of qualifying experience, or a master’s degree in one of those fields and three years of qualifying experience.
- Experience building scalable web applications with Angular for the front end, Node.js for the back end, and MongoDB for database management.
- Expertise designing Node.js microservices, using AWS, Kafka, Protobuf, Elasticsearch, and Open Policy Agent.
- Experience with Jenkins, Linux, Nginx, Envoy, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and Datadog.
- Experience developing end-to-end applications using Angular, Node.js, Java, Mongoose, and Spring Data JPA.
- Experience implementing JWT authentication, HashiCorp Vault, SonarQube, and unit, integration, and performance testing.
- Experience with MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis caching, database transactions, isolation levels, and indexes.
- Ability to provide technical guidance, conduct complex analysis, manage project risks, and mentor engineers.
