Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own software design, documentation, development, engineering approaches, delivery, and support for services.
- Build end-to-end solutions and new services that empower Customer Service Associates at scale.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders, stakeholders, and AWS technology teams to define the next generation of Customer Service.
- Develop tools, services, and processes that collect and rationalize data from different sources.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and troubleshoot recurring platform issues with escalation to senior engineering teams.
- Contribute to documentation, processes, and procedures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Programming experience with Java, C++, or C#, or experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

- Sign-on payments and restricted stock units are included in the overall Amazon package; the base salary range is $143,700.00-$194,400.00 annually in Seattle, Washington.
