Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and operate backend services that generate and deliver invoice documents and structured data.
- Own invoicing platform components such as rendering modules, delivery workflows, and government tax portal integration adapters.
- Write unit, integration, and regression tests and validate invoice templates against thousands of test cases.
- Use logs, metrics, alarms, and debugging tools to resolve defects and support incident response during on-call rotations.
- Monitor service health, perform safe deployments across multiple environments, and maintain high availability.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve software quality.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, compliance experts, and tax points of contact to translate regulatory requirements into reliable systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
