Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java/J2EE software supporting C2BMC Regional Applications.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, test, integrate, and provide operational and user support for complex systems software products.
- Develop operating-system-level applications, services, automation tools, and solutions that improve reliability, performance, efficiency, and maintainability.
- Support software integration and formal testing, including deployment into operational environments.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, integration, test, cyber, and operations groups to resolve problems and establish standards.
- Prepare and maintain design descriptions, test procedures, test reports, and user support documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field plus five years of experience; or a related master’s degree plus three years of relevant experience; or nine years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Current, active, in-scope Government-issued Secret security clearance required at application and start.
- Experience with Java/J2EE or alternative object-oriented development; additional C++ experience is desired.
- Knowledge of coding standards, peer reviews, automated testing, automated build pipelines, configuration management, and version control.
- Experience developing enterprise applications on Linux-based systems; Windows experience is desired.
- Experience using Maven, Git/GitHub, Nexus, Eclipse, or similar tools and IDEs.
- Understanding of systems engineering artifacts such as Use Cases and SysML diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent-working skills.
- Preferred qualifications include command-and-control systems experience, distributed or real-time systems experience, formal integration testing, cybersecurity and RMF implementation, performance modeling and tuning, microservices experience, and DevSecOps or build and release management experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for business needs.
