Responsibilities
- Serve as the Databricks Architect for customer technical teams from development through go-live, providing guidance, best practices, enablement, and blocker resolution.
- Lead post-technical-win account strategy and execution for Databricks use cases in strategic accounts.
- Own internal coordination and status visibility for production and go-live activities across multiple customer use cases.
- Coordinate Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding and Technical Services, Support, expert technical teams, and Professional Services resources.
- Create and execute plans to accelerate key use cases into production and coordinate Professional Services engagement proposals.
- Navigate Databricks Product and Engineering teams for new product innovations, private previews, and upgrades, and present relevant capabilities to customers.
- Provide internal and external updates on customer health, usage, risks, blockers, product adoption, and use-case progression.
Requirements
- Programming experience in PySpark, SQL, or Scala.
- Understanding and hands-on experience with solution architecture for distributed data and analytics systems.
- At least 5 years of experience accountable for delivering Data, Analytics, or AI projects and contributing to technical design discussions with customers.
- Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting roles.
- Ability to connect business value and outcomes to specific project deliverables.
- Experience with technical program coordination, account management, and stakeholder management.
- Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer technical stakeholders.
- Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar objective targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
