Responsibilities
- Lead code and design reviews, technical decisions, development standards, and strategic product implementation.
- Design, code, debug, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications and reusable software components.
- Develop full-stack applications using C#, JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, APIs, databases, caching, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Optimize system performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, monitor system health, and resolve production incidents through on-call support.
- Improve development tools, test coverage, code structure, legacy applications, and application environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training and support to internal teams.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, system administrators, engineering, product teams, customers, and vendors.
- Champion API-first software development practices focused on integration, scalability, security, and extensibility.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 8 years of related software development experience, or 6 years with an advanced degree.
- Strong C# programming skills and proven full-stack development experience.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular, along with HTML and CSS.
- Experience developing and deploying applications on cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes.
- Advanced experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data structures, performance optimization, and caching strategies.
- Experience monitoring and supporting production systems, resolving incidents, and implementing proactive reliability measures.
- Advanced experience developing unit, UI automation, and integration tests.
- Deep practical understanding of REST API best practices and API-first development.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry and participation in an on-call rotation.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and independent execution skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, SaaS experience in technology or financial industries, AWS experience with Kubernetes, and cross-platform mobile development experience with Flutter.
