Responsibilities
- Provide technical and engineering analysis supporting development, integration, testing, and delivery of on-demand and cloud-based missile defense software.
- Design, develop, and manage software libraries, cloud-based software architectures, and software requirements.
- Manage and review APIs, interface control documents, and software used in cloud-based and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
- Support AI development, tooling, and agentic operations.
- Apply engineering rigor to solve engineering and scientific problems independently, collaboratively, and while leading teams or tasks.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance is required.
- Master’s degree in a STEM field is required.
- 12+ years of experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs or projects is required.
- Experience with software library and cloud architecture design, development, and management is required.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop and cloud-based testing is required.
- Experience managing and reviewing APIs, interface control documents, and software for cloud-based and hardware-in-the-loop environments is required.
- Experience in artificial intelligence development and tooling and agentic operations is required.
- Top Secret clearance or the ability to qualify for one is desired.
- Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure and migrating legacy enterprise applications to cloud-native architectures is desired.
- Knowledge of or experience deploying Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure as code is desired.
- Experience with Git and modern configuration management and version control platforms is desired.
- Knowledge of secure DoD DevSecOps, Agile, and Lean software development practices is desired.
