Responsibilities
- Partner with account executives and solution engineers to advance sales opportunities through discovery workshops, enablement sessions, and architecture presentations.
- Define customer-driven architectures by selecting Salesforce technologies and applying product expertise, industry experience, enterprise architecture frameworks, and Salesforce methodologies.
- Develop and communicate business architectures, capability models, current- and future-state technical diagrams, roadmaps, design patterns, and reference architectures.
- Lead discussions on business and technical transformation using expertise in solution architecture, technical architecture, systems engineering, cloud, governance, and software development life cycle practices.
- Support sales teams with RFP responses and technical requirement documents.
- Deliver best practices, reference architectures, and educational content at sponsored events for customers, partners, and Salesforce teams.
- Lead technical due diligence and risk management for customer engagements.
- Advise Salesforce Product Management on customer-driven product capabilities and direction.
- Meet assigned quarterly and annual performance objectives.
Requirements
- Experience working with Salesforce solutions and the Salesforce Platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise software implementation, system integration, or enterprise architecture.
- Understanding of cloud architecture principles, including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, and multi-tiered infrastructure.
- Understanding of security processes, standards, and issues for multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications, including network, application, and information security.
- Conceptual and tactical understanding of enterprise application integration, including SOA, ESB, EAI, and ETL environments, as well as enterprise architecture topics such as process orchestration, BPM, CEP, Master Data Management, and BI/BA.
- Ability to understand emerging technologies such as generative and predictive Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Robotic Process Automation.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and a balanced, articulate demeanor.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce Industry solutions, including Public Sector Solutions and Education Cloud.
- Preferred Salesforce implementation experience with Force.com, Apex, Java or C#, JavaScript, mobile development, modern frameworks, REST, SOAP/WSDL, and API-driven integration.
- Preferred familiarity with AI technologies including Salesforce Agentforce AI, experience architecting Agentforce extension points, Data Cloud, agent observability and tuning, and third-party IaaS providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Solution-selling or sales/pre-sales experience is preferred.
