Base Salary
$219k - $345k/yr
Responsibilities
- Engage customer executives, architects, engineering teams, and decision-makers to establish trusted-advisor relationships.
- Translate business and operational priorities into technical strategies and cross-architecture solutions.
- Lead technical discovery, architectural design, presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept activities.
- Develop AI strategy and AI-ready infrastructure solutions connecting data center, networking, security, observability, and automation capabilities.
- Collaborate with global and regional account teams, specialists, partners, and Customer Experience resources throughout the sales cycle.
- Position Cisco’s technical differentiation and develop competitive strategies for enterprise transformation and digital resilience.
- Represent customer priorities within Cisco and influence engineering, services, support, and product roadmaps.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or a comparable customer-facing technology role.
- Experience designing and positioning enterprise solutions across AI, Enterprise Networking, Security, Splunk, Data Center, Cloud, Automation, IoT, and Collaboration.
- Experience leading technical discovery, solution-design presentations, demonstrations, workshops, or proof-of-concept activities for large enterprise customers.
- Experience translating customer business priorities into technical strategies and engaging senior and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to travel within the Americas and participate in global customer or team meetings across time zones.
- Preferred: Cisco certification such as CCIE or an equivalent industry-recognized technical certification.
- Preferred: BS/BA in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: Experience with AI-ready infrastructure, Service Provider technologies, routing, large-scale IP/MPLS networks, segment routing, network automation, and complex global enterprise environments.
Benefits
- Starting salary range is $218,600.00 to $286,100.00, excluding incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.

- Employees may be eligible for annual bonuses or performance-based sales incentive pay under Cisco’s applicable plans.
