Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation of GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform.
- Own technical evaluations, including solution design, proof-of-concept and proof-of-value initiatives, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
- Partner with Account Executives and regional sales teams on customer acquisition and expansion strategies.
- Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders and guide GitLab-driven transformations.
- Advise customers on software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices.
- Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
- Create reusable technical examples, best-practice guidance, and customer and partner collateral.
- Participate in ongoing learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing within the Solutions Architect team.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in customer-facing technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar solution design and evaluation roles.
- Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle and modern DevSecOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms.
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing, deployment, security, and operations concepts.
- Experience leading proofs of concept or value, tenders, audits, workshops, or value stream assessments.
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills for technical practitioners and senior decision-makers.
- Ability to build trusted customer relationships and advocate for customer needs internally.
- Motivation to continuously learn new technologies and deepen GitLab platform expertise.
