Responsibilities

  • Define and operationalize SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets and own the complete incident management lifecycle.
  • Lead problem management, root-cause analysis, recurring-issue elimination, runbook development, resilience engineering, failover testing, and capacity planning.
  • Implement AIOps, application performance monitoring, synthetic monitoring, centralized logging, anomaly detection, intelligent alerting, and observability dashboards.
  • Design automation-first and self-healing solutions using Ansible, Python, Bash, and Stonebranch to reduce operational toil.
  • Provide L2/L3 support for Snowflake data pipelines, ETL workflows, integration dependencies, distributed systems, APIs, messaging, file transfer, and OpenShift workloads.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server, IIS, Linux, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, certificates, SSO integrations, and enterprise applications.
  • Lead disaster recovery planning and execution, validate failover processes, and coordinate readiness across integrated platforms.
  • Support security, compliance, audit, vulnerability remediation, service ID management, lifecycle management, change management, CAB processes, and release coordination.
  • Provide system-health reporting, KPIs, executive summaries, and cross-team coordination with IAM, PAM, logging, and cloud platform teams.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of SRE or systems engineering experience.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and ITSM processes, including incident, problem, change, and release management.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift and experience with Ansible Automation Platform or willingness to learn it.
  • In-depth experience with Dynatrace, Elasticsearch, Moogsoft, Catchpoint, PagerDuty, or comparable monitoring and observability tools.
  • Experience scripting with Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
  • Experience administering Linux and Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with APIs, secure file transfer procedures, intelligent monitoring, anomaly detection, and automation technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, independent ownership, and ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Preferred experience with OpenTelemetry, AIOps and AI/ML concepts, Ansible, Stonebranch, Kafka, Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Vault, Snowflake, MongoDB Atlas, SSO, SAML, OAuth, and enterprise financial-services applications.
