Responsibilities
- Lead 60–120 minute enterprise discovery sessions to identify business drivers, constraints, decision dynamics, and measurable outcomes.
- Challenge feature-focused requests and reframe them as business problems with value hypotheses.
- Architect scalable solutions across Azure, data, AI, security, integration, and Power Platform.
- Produce SOWs, scopes, assumptions, dependencies, change-control language, discovery summaries, phased delivery plans, and DevOps-ready backlogs.
- Design phased delivery approaches that address data readiness, feasibility, security constraints, and delivery risk.
- Communicate architecture, value, impact, feasibility, and risk to CFO, COO, CTO, and CISO audiences.
- Shape engagements around margin, utilization, fixed-fee versus time-and-materials models, and delivery risk.
- Partner with sales, delivery, and leadership on deal orchestration, readiness, and clean handoffs.
- Identify risks, gaps, and misaligned client expectations early to protect delivery teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Microsoft cloud, data, or application architecture.
- 3–5 years of experience in presales, advisory, or solution architecture roles.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise discovery or design workshops.
- Experience producing high-quality SOWs, scopes, phased delivery plans, and estimates with assumptions.
- Ability to whiteboard and defend designs across Azure, data, AI, security, and Power Platform.
- Strong understanding of Azure data platforms, applied AI, integration patterns, and Power Platform governance.
- Certifications such as LUMA, IDEO, IBM Enterprise Design Thinking, Microsoft Catalyst, or equivalent structured problem-solving frameworks are valued.
- Experience at a Microsoft-focused consulting partner is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to Prosci or similar change-management methodologies is valued.
- Clear, concise, and credible communication with executive stakeholders.
