Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evolve microservices, APIs, and reusable libraries for executing algorithms in mission-critical production environments.
- Contribute to technology evaluation and define development standards for system efficiency, resilience, and sustainability.
- Optimize the platform for velocity and scalability and prioritize development tasks with the team.
- Support component and integration test setup, quality assurance, and development team productivity.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to squad members.
- Support problem situations and issues and oversee tactics for achieving objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or software engineering.
- Minimum five years of significant experience developing enterprise-grade software solutions.
- Proficiency in Python and good understanding of Java and Bash.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithm design techniques.
- Experience with machine learning libraries and scientific computing tools such as Scikit-learn, NumPy, and SciPy.
- Experience with the software engineering lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience developing complex services with Docker, Kubernetes, Flask, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with GitLab, Grafana, the ELK stack, and Jenkins.
- Working knowledge of streaming and batch processing systems such as Kafka.
- Familiarity with XGBoost, TensorFlow, or Spark and with Snowflake, MongoDB, and S3.
- Familiarity with AWS Kinesis, Lambda, and CloudWatch is a plus.
