Base Salary
$119k - $187k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, companywide technology initiatives with broad organizational impact.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, and review large-scale technology solutions.
- Develop engineering standards and companywide best practices for complex technology solutions.
- Evaluate tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technology environments, and complex technical challenges.
- Make technology and engineering decisions, influence teams, and drive new initiatives to completion.
- Collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups to resolve technical issues.
- Lead projects and teams or serve as a peer mentor.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 3+ years of Core Java development experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Spring Frameworks, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- 3+ years of experience developing microservices.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and API integrations.
- Preferred: 3+ years of Agile experience.
- Preferred: experience with Kafka.
- Preferred: knowledge of test-driven application development and BDD.
