Base Salary

$119k - $187k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, companywide technology initiatives with broad organizational impact.
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, and modernize enterprise trade management applications.
  • Develop scalable, resilient, high-performance systems supporting the full trade lifecycle across cash and derivative products.
  • Review and analyze complex technology solutions against strategic business objectives and enterprise technology environments.
  • Establish engineering standards and companywide best practices for large-scale technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with traders, quantitative analysts, product owners, technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups.
  • Lead projects and teams, mentor peers, and drive new technology initiatives.
  • Contribute to cloud-native architecture, microservices, and AI-assisted development practices for Capital Markets platforms.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • At least 4 years of FICC trade lifecycle experience, including trade capture, valuation models, and lifecycle event management.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Java, including concurrency and JVM tuning, and Python, including FastAPI and data science libraries.
  • At least 4 years of distributed systems experience with gRPC, service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd, and high-performance messaging protocols.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or financial engineering.
  • Preferred experience building or significantly contributing to industry-leading platforms.
  • Preferred understanding of pricing and risk for complex derivatives, including swaps, options, and exotics, and their translation into trade event models.
  • Preferred experience implementing GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted engineering tools at scale.
  • Preferred experience with micro front ends and deploying mission-critical financial systems in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Preferred familiarity with data residency and sovereignty considerations.
