Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance REST services and integration components within a backend microservices architecture.
- Design and implement new capabilities aligned with the product roadmap.
- Conduct architectural reviews for current and upcoming solutions.
- Address technical debt and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the payments product team and partners' engineering teams.
Requirements
- Over 2 years of experience in contemporary engineering methodologies.
- Proficient in Java or Kotlin and Spring / Spring Boot technologies.
- Experience in designing and constructing REST APIs.
- Familiarity with high-volume distributed systems and Kafka event streams.
- Proficient in cloud platforms like GCP or AWS and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Skilled in Javascript / Typescript and operational tooling.
