Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software for sensor processing, data acquisition, and real-time system integration.
  • Develop DSP-based architectures, algorithms, and performance optimizations.
  • Build and maintain embedded software components for sensor subsystems.
  • Improve software performance, latency, power consumption, and memory usage.
  • Apply operating-system concepts including scheduling, concurrency, synchronization, IPC, memory management, and thread design.
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, algorithms, and systems teams on end-to-end solutions.
  • Debug complex system issues using logs, trace tools, and low-level analysis.
  • Lead software design reviews, coding best practices, and technical decision-making.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across the team.
  • Support unit testing, integration testing, and release readiness.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of software development experience, preferably in embedded or systems software.
  • Strong hands-on experience with embedded systems programming and DSP software development and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of multithreading, synchronization, interrupt handling, scheduling, task management, memory management, and device-driver interaction.
  • Proficiency in C/C++.
  • Knowledge of real-time and low-power software design.
  • Strong system- and platform-level debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Bachelor's degree, master's degree, or PhD in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field, with the corresponding stated software engineering experience.
  • At least 2 years of academic or work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
