Responsibilities
- Define customer strategies, identify complex opportunities, and accelerate adoption of Stripe solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with executives and technical decision makers while providing business and technical thought leadership.
- Understand customer objectives and design end-to-end Stripe transformation journeys, roadmaps, architectures, and third-party integrations.
- Lead discovery, strategy engagements, executive briefings, presentations, readouts, and solution demonstrations to secure technical wins.
- Expand Stripe adoption across global markets, business units, and local payment methods.
- Represent customer insights, trends, and opportunities to Stripe leadership, product, and engineering teams.
- Participate in sales forecasting, Quarterly Business Reviews, and account or territory planning.
- Provide technical expertise on Stripe’s platform, features, benefits, and possible customizations.
- Manage presales projects, including proof-of-concept development and solution feasibility checks.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role, such as solutions architect, solution consultant, or sales engineer, for a global software enterprise.
- Executive engagement, relationship-building, group facilitation, presentation, and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architecture.
- Ability to learn and understand Connect, Stripe Payments, and Billing systems and their integration methodologies.
- Ability to understand interactions among ERP, CRM, Billing, Tax, and legacy systems within platform ecosystems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills for managing competing priorities and strategic customers.
- Preferred experience in payments, customer-facing domain expertise, technical sales for enterprise platforms, and Stripe or RESTful API integrations.
- Preferred experience with systems design, building and deploying complex applications, and helping customers adopt cloud software.
- Ability to work independently through ambiguity, think strategically and creatively, and collaborate with extended teams.
