Base Salary
$113k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze application, system, and data landscapes to identify modernization and optimization opportunities.
- Architect scalable, secure, maintainable enterprise solutions, including integration patterns, data pipelines, and cloud deployments.
- Guide engineering teams in implementing services, APIs, and database integrations.
- Design and optimize relational databases through SQL modeling, query tuning, and data migration strategies.
- Lead technical discovery, architecture reviews, risk assessments, trade-off analyses, and solution documentation.
- Establish solution design standards, architectural guidelines, and secure-by-design principles.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship across multiple engineering teams.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineers, cybersecurity specialists, cloud teams, and other stakeholders to define requirements and success criteria.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in software engineering, system design, or solution architecture.
- At least 5 years of experience with SQL development and relational database design.
- At least 5 years of experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or .NET.
- Experience with enterprise solution architecture and cloud-based deployments.
- Experience performing technical discovery and delivering solution documentation.
- Ability to lead technical teams and make architectural decisions.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure, enterprise data systems, data pipelines, distributed architectures, event-driven architectures, and complex system integrations.
- Preferred experience with microservices, containerization, and DevSecOps practices.
- A master's degree and Azure Architect or cloud certification are preferred.
