Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable applications using React, TypeScript, and Storybook.
- Own frontend architecture decisions involving component patterns, state management, data fetching, caching, rendering, memoization, and virtualization.
- Build reusable UI systems and optimize applications for performance, scalability, responsiveness, and maintainability.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs and influence API design for UI performance.
- Contribute to backend development using Node.js, Python, or Java as needed.
- Deploy and manage applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, build optimization, environment management, and release workflows using tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Integrate LLMs and AI APIs into frontend experiences while addressing response rendering, latency, and user experience.
- Mentor other engineers and influence technical direction and architectural decisions.
- Support financial risk and regulatory systems involving Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, and CCAR reporting.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a full-stack or software engineer.
- Experience in the Credit Risk domain and exposure to regulatory reporting frameworks such as CCAR.
- Understanding of Liquidity Risk concepts and their impact on financial systems and reporting.
- Strong frontend architecture expertise, including component design, state management, data flow, and performance optimization.
- Experience with data-heavy, API-driven applications and complex UI interactions.
- Ability to work across the stack while maintaining strong frontend depth.
- Experience with cloud deployments and DevOps workflows.
- Hands-on experience or strong interest in integrating AI features into user interfaces.
- Ability to own frontend systems end-to-end, explain architectural and performance decisions, mentor others, and influence technical direction.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and trade-off evaluation skills.
