Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with technical leads, product owners, architects, developers, and testers to create and deliver solution designs.
  • Design application building blocks and IT solutions that satisfy functional and non-functional requirements and support performance, resilience, and scalability.
  • Produce detailed design documentation aligned with clients' technology strategies.
  • Work with IT security to enable privacy by design and align with client security practices.
  • Communicate design status, blockers, and opportunities to technical leads.
  • Develop optional proof-of-concept prototypes and technical points of view to validate solution approaches and support architecture decisions.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of combined full-stack development experience building business applications across the full software development lifecycle.
  • At least 2 years contributing to solution design, technical planning, or architecture decisions.
  • Hands-on experience across frontend, API, backend, database, and integration layers.
  • Basic familiarity with at least one of UML, BPMN, C4, or ArchiMate.
  • Exposure to Domain-Driven Design, API-first development, event-driven architecture, containerization, cloud-native development, or serverless development.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Cloud-platform certification in Azure, AWS, or GCP is preferred.
  • Familiarity with TOGAF or Zachman architecture frameworks is preferred.
