Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Maintain the Workday Kubernetes-based platform, including core components, high availability, scalability, and security.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using Terraform and Argo CD.
- Operate monitoring, reporting, observability, metrics, incident handling, and response processes.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and collaborate with development teams to resolve problems.
- Implement platform security practices and maintain compliance with applicable standards.
- Create and maintain platform documentation and participate in team knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with engineers and development teams across multiple locations and time zones.
- Stay current with technologies and trends in platform engineering.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform.
- Experience building, maintaining, and consuming CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Argo CD.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and production experience with Amazon Web Services are preferred.
- Proficiency in at least one of C#, Python, Ruby, Rust, or Go is preferred.
- Experience with security auditing, compliance frameworks, and air-gapped cloud regions is preferred.
- Preferred DoD 8570/8140 compliance with at least IAT Level II certification, a current Computing Environment credential, and one approved specialty certification such as CompTIA CySA+, GICSP, or CASP+.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; an active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred.
