Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using declarative and programmatic approaches, including Apex and Lightning Web Components.
- Develop cross-module workflows, scripts, custom integrations, and core Salesforce features while accounting for platform API deprecations and governor limits.
- Diagnose Salesforce anomalies, multi-platform data synchronization issues, failing queues, deployment locks, and application alerts.
- Deliver bulkified production-ready code with automated testing, version control, health monitoring, peer reviews, and code-quality standards.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Security, Finance, and other partner teams on integrations, architecture, compliance, and technical delivery.
- Instrument API endpoints and Salesforce Event Monitoring to improve observability and resolve issues within established SLAs.
- Participate in repository-driven sandbox management, CI/CD pipelines, technical solution evaluation, integration planning, and change control.
- Identify manual processes for automation and document application procedures and incident post-mortems.
- Evaluate AI-assisted development suggestions against Salesforce execution limits and asynchronous processing patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of Salesforce Developer or Salesforce Engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of systems architecture, technical specifications, integration planning, and business-aligned solution design.
- Hands-on expertise with bulkified Flows, Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components, and REST-based web services.
- Proficiency with Salesforce APIs, SOQL, SOSL, XML, JSON, and modern DevOps or CI/CD tools.
- Ability to diagnose systemic Salesforce anomalies and data synchronization issues across connected platforms.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications are preferred, including Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I or II, or App Builder.
