Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain account updater services for the Access to Cards payments team.
- Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and new products.
- Collaborate regularly with teammates and the product owner.
- Support development and DevOps efforts across the team.
- Work with web services and API-based automation testing.
- Lead a team of 3–4 people when needed.
- Translate requirements into designs and maintain end-to-end ownership of software delivery.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, microservices, web services, SQL, NoSQL, and microservices architecture.
- Strong experience building web applications and working with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Spring Batch, and JUnit.
- Knowledge of design patterns, Tomcat, JBoss, RDBMS, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MySQL, and other databases.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift containerized implementations.
- Experience with Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, Jenkins, and Ansible.
- Knowledge of API-based automation testing and CI/CD practices.
- Strong Core Java knowledge and the ability to follow sound coding and SDLC practices.
- Comfort with AI tools and terminology.
