Base Salary
$142k - $199k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test solutions in a high-throughput, low-latency microservices environment.
- Improve system observability through metrics, monitors, and alerts.
- Translate product user stories into actionable engineering tasks.
- Own one or more team domain areas and contribute to project and operational ownership.
- Mentor teammates and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Use automated AI tools in accordance with company policy.
- Participate in on-call rotations according to the team’s escalation policy and support schedule.
- Develop, refine, and evaluate prompts and workflows for LLM-based APIs.
- Build and support multi-step, tool-using agents and multiagent orchestration patterns.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, and ORMs.
- Experience with ReactJS or similar frontend frameworks and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or Postgres and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and Redis.
- Experience with AWS and modern DevOps tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with data-streaming mechanisms such as Apache Kafka, Kinesis, and/or SNS/SQS.
- Familiarity with Cursor, Claude Code, and/or GitHub Copilot and Python.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of LLM-based APIs, agentic workflows, multiagent orchestration, MCP, and agent-to-agent patterns.
- Domain knowledge in the advertising technology industry.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or relevant work experience.
